1. Who May Use Our Services

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lovnar.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Lovnar is for personal, non-commercial use only.
We comply with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and IMDA guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or any applicable law.

2. Intellectual Property and License to Use Services

All intellectual property rights in Lovnar (logos, app interface, software, text, graphics, voice features, etc.) belong to Lovnar or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lovnar solely for private, lawful, non-commercial dating purposes.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify, sell, or exploit any part of Lovnar's IP without written consent.
Any unauthorized use will result in account termination and possible legal action.

3. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Lovnar handles personal data in accordance with Singapore's PDPA.
By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You can access the Privacy Policy anytime within the app or at Lovnar website.

4. Registration

You must create an account to access most features.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Lovnar may require verification (email, phone, photo, or voice verification) before granting full access.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
Lovnar is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your negligence.

5. Term and Termination; Account Deletion

You may delete your account anytime through app settings.
Lovnar may suspend or terminate your account if you: breach these Terms, provide false information, endanger other users, or engage in unlawful behavior.
Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends immediately.
Certain obligations (e.g. indemnity, limitation of liability, copyright policy) survive termination.

6. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Lovnar does not guarantee successful matches, accuracy of profiles, or availability of the app.
To the extent permitted by law, Lovnar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed SGD 100 or the amount you paid in the previous 12 months, whichever is greater.
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by Lovnar's negligence.

7. Code of Conduct; Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Misrepresent your identity, age, or gender.
Upload or share content that is illegal, obscene, violent, discriminatory, or harassing.
Use Lovnar for commercial promotion, scams, or solicitation.
Record or share another user's photos, videos, or voice recordings without consent.
Use bots, scrapers, or automation tools.
Post content that could harm Lovnar's reputation or violate the law.

Lovnar may remove content or suspend accounts for violations.

8. Content Restrictions

You are responsible for the content you post. You must not upload or display:

Pornographic, suggestive, or sexually explicit material.
Hate speech or violent imagery.
Misleading, false, or defamatory information.
Content violating another person's privacy or intellectual property.

Lovnar reserves the right to review, hide, or delete content that violates these standards.

9. Licenses Granted by You

By submitting photos, audio recordings, videos, or text ("User Content"), you grant Lovnar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services.
Use anonymized content for internal testing, moderation, or fraud prevention.

This license ends once your account and content are deleted, except where retention is required for safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

10. Your Representations and Warranties

You represent and warrant that:

You own or have permission to use all content you upload.
You will comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
Your conduct on Lovnar will be respectful, lawful, and safe.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lovnar, its affiliates, employees, and officers from any loss, liability, claim, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the Services,
Your breach of these Terms, or
Your violation of third-party rights.

12. Third Party Copyrights and Other Rights Copyright Policy

Lovnar respects intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.

If you believe content on Lovnar infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please notify via the form at Contact page with:

Your contact details;
A description of the copyrighted material and the allegedly infringing content;
A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized; and
A declaration that your notice is accurate and submitted in good faith.

Lovnar may remove or disable access to infringing content and terminate repeat offenders. Users who believe their content was wrongly removed may submit a counter-notice as permitted by law.

13. Premium (Paid) Services Subscription, Services App Credits, Promo Codes and In-App Purchases

Lovnar offers optional Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Payment processing is handled by app stores or authorized third-party providers.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Refunds follow app store policies and local consumer law.
Promotional credits or codes may expire and have no cash value.
Lovnar reserves the right to adjust pricing and benefits with notice.

14. App Features

Lovnar includes the following main features:

Classic Swipe

Image-based matching (standard swipe).

Mystery Swipe

Voice-based matching, showing only limited details (name, age, distance).

Favourites Page

"Likes" and "I Liked" tabs; photos are blurred for free users.

Messages Page

Chat with matches using text and voice.

Profile Page

Upload profile info and a voice introduction.

Lovnar may update, remove, or modify features as part of continuous improvement.

15. Personal Data

Lovnar collects and processes your personal data in line with Singapore's PDPA.
This includes information such as name, email, photos, and voice recordings used for matching and verification.

16. Third Party Websites

Lovnar may link to or integrate third-party websites and services (e.g. payment gateways, analytics, or ad providers).
These are operated by independent third parties. Lovnar is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms of use.

17. General Provisions

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Lovnar.
Severability: If any clause is invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
Assignment: You may not transfer your rights; Lovnar may assign its rights in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.
